Children learn fast.
Start young! And almost all the top dancers started young, some with ballet at 5 years of age, then onto Latin and Ballroom, and some straight in when 4 to 10 years old.
Helps all education It's a great for movement and learning to cooperate with others. Partner dancing is proven to help and maintain brain development.
Recognised qualifications There are nationally approved Ofqual tests and educationally recognised Grades for measuring progress from the International Dance Teachers Association. Grade 6-8 add points for university applications.
Competitions Children also love the glamour of competitions. They can start as beginners after a short time and get the fun and experience to demonstrate what they have learnt. They regularly win trophies to take home.
Testimonial from Hannah, a parent
"Our two daughters began dancing with Youlie aged 4 and 6. The weekly sessions are both fun and rewarding – Youlie is a great, experienced teacher who is VERY patient and encouraging with young children. Within six months they were doing their first exams and soon after entered into a competition. They have learnt so much in a short space of time and look forward to going back each week."
